
Fall 2001 - Michael begins writing songs while at Emerson College and performs his first live show. The song "Cold (All That I Know)" is written.
Summer 2003 - A club in Portland, Maine begins spinning an early version of "Everyone Wants to Feel Something."
Fall 2003 - Michael releases a mostly instrumental album, titled "Feel Something," through mp3.com. It includes early versions of four songs that are later developed for "Fire Behind Me."
October 2006 - The "Everyone Wants to Feel Something" EP is released and Michael begins promoting his music. The EP gets press in Boston and is played in three New York City clubs.
March 2007 - Michael performs his first live show in over five years at the Milky Way in Boston.
May 2007 - The "Fire Behind Me" album is released, featuring mixing and mastering by award-winning musician Yasuhiko Fukuoka. |
